District Information
The WildBlue Community Development District is a local, special-purpose government entity authorized by Chapter 190 of the Florida Statutes as amended, and established on November 9, 2017 by the Lee County Board of County Commissioners, Lee County, Florida Ordinance No. 17-17, to finance, fund, plan, establish, acquire, construct, reconstruct, enlarge or extend, equip, operate, and maintain systems and facilities for parks and facilities for indoor and outdoor recreational, cultural, and educational uses, as authorized and described by Section 190.012(2)(a), Florida Statutes.
The WildBlue CDD encompasses an area of approximately 1,563 acres entirely within unincorporated Lee County Florida as an alternative method of planning, acquiring, operating and maintaining community-wide improvements in planned communities. The land within the District is generally located north of Corkscrew Road and south and west of the Alico Road.
